The only real problem is that during the transition it may get stuck for a while before reversing, thus blessing us with a frighteningly weak magnetic field, double the radiation from the son, and more cancer. Well, at least we'll get Aurora Borealis every night.
Yeah, so beware the huge patch of reversed magnetic field in the southern hemisphere... It BEGINS.
